State police at Lehighton reported on driving under the influence arrests.

Troopers said on Saturday at 9:19 p.m. Jessica Hartman, 24, of Lehighton, was stopped for a traffic violation along State Road at Route 248, in Franklin Township.During the stop it was determined that Hartman was driving under the influence of a controlled substance and was arrested. She was then taken to the Lehighton hospital for a blood test.It was also learned that she was wanted for a probation violation out of Lehigh County. The DUI charge is pending the blood test results.While at the same stop a passenger with Hartman, Derick Lee Hymans, 22, also of Lehighton, was arrested on several outstanding warrants out of several counties. He was taken to the county prison in Nesquehoning.On Sunday, May 11, at 8:37 a.m. troopers responded to 314 Bridge St., Weissport, to a report of an individual passed out behind the wheel of a vehicle with the engine running.On scene the operator was identified as Gary James Exner, 28, of Jim Thorpe. He was found to be under the influence of alcohol. He was taken to the barracks for a breath test. Charges are to be filed.
