The Allentown enforcement office of the state liquor control board has cited a Schuylkill County club for violating the state liquor code.

Ex-Servicemen's Club of The American Legion, 42 S. Tulpehocken St., Pine Grove, was cited for selling alcoholic beverages to non-members. The violations occurred on March 19 and 24, the complaint states.The charge will be brought before an administrative law judge who has the authority to impose penalties rannging from $50 to $1,000 for minor offenses and up to $5,000 for more serious offenses. The judge can also impose a license suspension or revocation of the license based on the severity of the charge.
