Firefighters from several Schuylkill County communities battled a stubborn fire that has claimed an entire apartment building and four homes in the borough of New Philadelphia. The fire broke out in the apartment building just after 4 a.m. today and by the time firemen were dispatched the entire wood frame structure was fully involved in flames.
