The autumnal equinox officially arrives tonight at 11:09 p.m. Before the onset of cooler fall temperatures, Lois Walton of Tamaqua welcomed the help of her granddaughter, Ella Morrison, to do some late-season gardening. Ella, who enjoyed this free ride from grandma, celebrated her fifth birthday on Patriot Day.
