Schuylkill County Dairy Promotion Court is wrapping up the 2013-2014 year and working to reach a wide range of consumers.
Promoters are looking forward to starting fresh and re-energizing their efforts telling communities about consuming three servings of dairy every day.Dairy promoters do not have to be girls who live on a dairy farm. They can be young men or women who have some connection to the industry, such as a family member who works on a dairy farm, a dairy product plant or who drives a milk truck.Another way individuals can become a part of the court is if he or she works with a dairy 4-H or Future Farmers of America project or simply who has a passion for the dairy industry. The county Dairy Promotion Committee extends an invitation to these candidates in the county, from ages 6-24, to join the Schuylkill County Dairy Promotion Court for the 2014-2015 year.Being part of the team allows individuals to meet a wide range of people, participate in a variety of events, and build strong interpersonal skills. For more information, contact Madeline Daubert at 570-294-6981 or by email at
