Eldred Township administrative assistant E. Ann Velopolcek said Department of Agriculture representatives are doing a survey of the area as they are looking for a pest called the spotted lantern fly. They would appreciate any sightings of the invasive plant hopper, a native of China, first discovered in eastern Berks County in 2014.Call the Invasive Species report line at 866-253-7189 and provide any details of the sighting and your contact information.New addressMonroe County Habitat for Humanity has moved its office from Stroudsburg to 354 Memorial Blvd., Tobyhanna.
