The Saint John's Episcopal Church of Palmerton made their first appearance at the Palmerton Community Festival in the Borough Park. Their specialties were baked potatoes and samosas. The samosas are an ethnic food of India and were donated to the stand by Father Abraham of St. John's. A variety of toppings were offered for the baked potatoes. The profit from the stand is going back to the Palmerton community by the outreach program such as the community meal which is served at St. John's Episcopal Church. Left to right, parishioners Jen Tobia and Bonnie Green played an important part in organizing the stand for the festival.
