Members of Jim Thorpe High School Class of 1964 will meet at noon Wednesday at Penn's Peak. Reunion chairman Ed Solomon will provide an update on the 50-year reunion, which will be held Sept. 13 at Mahoning Valley Country Club. He reminds those who haven't made a commitment to attend, to do so as soon as possible.

The reunion will include a weekend of events. At 7 p.m. Sept. 12 there is a home football game. A deck party is also planned for 7 p.m. that day at Molly Maguire's in town. On Saturday, those who wish will have breakfast at a local eatery. At 10 a.m. members will gather at the high school for dedication of the memorial bench.The group will enjoy a train ride up through the gorge leaving Jim Thorpe at 1 p.m. The reunion will begin with a cocktail hour at 5 p.m.
