The fourth week of the Eastern Schuylkill Recreation Commission (ESRC) summer basketball league saw Lucky's Deli and DJ 1:01 came away with thrilling last second victories. Also coming away with victories were E Mortgage Management, Martin's Printing, Batter's Box, and Vesuvio's.

MORTGAGE MANAGEMENTSHERRY DENTALE Mortgage Management held a slim halftime lead 34-28, but Sherry Dental was unable to keep up in the second half, falling 81-61.Danny Miller led all scorers with 26 points with 3 treys for E Mortgage Management. Ryan Achenbach also had a big impact with 20 points, and Cory Houser and Jeremy Frey both put up 15. Despite the loss, Kyle McGee and Alden Whah both had solid production with 24 and 20 points respectively.VESUVIO'S-DEDICATED FITNESSIn a battle between the only winless and only unbeaten, Vesuvio's kept their unbeaten record alive with a solid 73-59 win over Dedicated Fitness.Mark Scarcella had another big scoring night with 20 points, 15 of which came in the second half. Danny Magushack and Carlos Rivas both added 15 points to the winning effort. Dedicated Fitness is still searching for their first win, but that doesn't stop Jake Szczecina from knocking down threes. He had 5 on the night to add to his 19 total points.DJ 1:01-Lucky's DeliLast, but certainly, not least on Monday Night, Lucky's Deli took on DJ 1:01, and the two fought tooth and nail from start to finish with Lucky's Deli coming out on top 62-61 as Mike Conley's last second drive to the basket was ended with a travel call.Cory Scheeler led his team with 18 points, and Jack Buchinsky added 17 with three 3-pointers for Lucky's Deli. Mike Conley led all scorers in a losing effort for DJ 1:01 with 19 points and 3 treys.SHERRY DENTAL-DJ 1:01Following Monday's heartbreaking loss, DJ 1:01 responded in dramatic fashion as they defeated Sherry Dental at the last second 69-66.Mike Conley led DJ 1:01 with 19 points and four 3-pointers. Rob Miller contributed with 15 points and three 3s of his own. Kyle Berezwick scored his first points of the season with a three from the corner as time expired to give DJ 1:01 the win. Sherry Dental's Jimmy Wagner led all scorers with 21, and Kyle McGee added 20 more.MARTIN'S PRINTING-DOM N ALI'SMartin's Printing, playing their second game indoors, ran right through Dom N Ali's 97-54 giving them a combined 202 points in two indoor games.Ethan Eichhorst led Martin's Printing with an incredible 44 points with one 3-pointer and went 7-7 from the free throw line. Christian Laputka added 15 to the total, and Parris Cleveland and Brandon DeCosmo both scored 13. Matt Yaich led Dom N Ali's with 29 points.MORTGAGE MANAGEMENT-BATTER'S BOXBatter's Box capped the week with a tight 64-59 victory over E Mortgage Management.Eric Trabal led Batter's Box with 14 points, two three pointers , and shot 100% from the charity stripe. Aaron Mantz tallied 13 as well as two big free throws to put the game out of reach late.
