Paul Shealer, second from left, who retired recently as the Cooperative Extension Service agent for the county, was honored at a retirement picnic held last Wednesday at the Mauch Chunk Lake Park. Shealer's service to Carbon County was recognized in a resolution adopted by the board of commissioners and presented to him at the event.
