The Palmerton Area School Board approved the following extracurricular positions at a special meeting on Tuesday. The appointments passed on a 7-0 vote with Directors Barry Scherer and Josann Harry absent. The salaries are per current negotiated contract for the 2014-15 school year:

- Dwight Henninger, assistant track coach- Bethany Rowland, assistant track coach- Jim Hay, assistant track coach- Ryan McGrath, assistant track coach- Marcia Heinick, volunteer marching band
