The Smash baseball travel team finished its season by capturing the championship of the 16U Bullpen Titan Mid-Summer Swing Tournament at Pocono Summit. It was the second tournament championship for the team this summer. Connor Hartung of Tamaqua pitched in the championship game, striking out eight and walking one in a complete-game victory over Westchester Baseball Academy. In addition to Hartung, the Smash roster was comprised of players from Berwick, Hazleton, Blue Mountain and Northwest High Schools.
