The deadline for submitting recipes for the 27th annual Times News Cookbook and Recipe Contest is 11:59 p.m. Sunday.We are accepting original recipes in six categories this year.They are Tailgating, Main Dish & Sides, Holiday Cookies and Candy, Desserts, Edible Gifts, and Beverages and Smoothies.A winner will be chosen in each category.Those winners will thenbe asked to re-create their winning recipes for a final judging at the Times News office in Mahoning Township.At that time, a panel of judges will determine our grand prize winner."Recipes from Our Readers" will be published on Nov. 6, just in time for the holidays.Email recipes to
