James and Lynette Curran of Jim Thorpe have announced the engagement of their daughter, Stephanie Curran, Osan AFB in South Korea, to Joseph S. Libid, Tinker AFB in Oklahoma, son of Fernando Libid and Yolanda Pasimio of Chino, California.

The bride-to-be is a 2009 graduate of Jim Thorpe Area High School.She is currently enlisted in the United States Air Force for Medical Readiness and is working on her degree in health care administration through CCAF.Stephanie has been a member of the USAF since 2009. She is the recipient of many awards and medals.The prospective bridegroom graduated from Diamond Bar High School, California, in 2005. He then enlisted in the USAF that same year. He has since earned his degree in Supply Chain Management. He has been deployed numerous times and has also earned several awards.The couple plan to be married Oct. 8, 2016.
