October 20, 1990 Joe Gillespie carries 12 times for 117 yards and three touchdowns to help Marian roll to a 36-7 win over West Hazleton. Gillespie reaches the end zone twice in the opening quarter, scoring on runs of 25 and 10 yards. He later adds a five-yard tally. Mike Makovec adds a touchdown run and a scoring pass. He uses a bootleg to scamper five yards to the end zone and also tosses a 29-yard TD strike to Mike Hosak. The Colts, coached by Stan (Dakosty) Dick, also receive a 21-yard field goal off the foot of Bobby Wargo.
