St. John Lutheran Slovak Church, located at the corner and Abbott and Tunnel streets, Lansford, will be celebrating the birthday of the U.S. Navy at 7 p.m. on Oct. 10.

Light refreshments will follow the service.

Everyone is invited, especially Navy veterans, active duty or reserve.
