State police at Lehighton are investigating two incidents that occurred in recent months in Eldred Township, Monroe County.
The first incident occurred sometime between April 19 and June 2 along Molasses Valley Road.According to police, unknown criminals removed a Skill chop saw, valued at $114; two Black and Decker drills, valued at $40 each; a Skill reciprocating saw, valued at $60; and a Craftsman socket/wrench set, valued at $50; from the residence of Raymond A. Flyte.The second incident occurred along Chestnut Drive sometime overnight of July 13 and 14.According to police, officers responded to a theft/criminal mischief incident at the above location. Unknown criminals removed Susan Schwartz's mailbox; and removed/damaged Maurice Leonardo's yard lights and placed them in the middle of his yard.Anyone with information pertaining to either of these incidents is asked to contact troopers at (610) 377-4270.
