The Eastern Schuylkill Recreation Commission's summer basketball league completed only one night of games this week due to rain on Monday. The crossover games that were rained out Monday will be played Monday July 19 at the North and Middle Ward Playground.

Crossover games were played Wednesday, and R.R. Frey Services took down the previously undefeated Guerilla Squad in a mercy rule victory.WEDNESDAY'S RESULTSWest End Fire Company-Schaeffer's Harley DavidsonWest End Fire Company overcame a half-time deficit to comeback and defeat Schaeffer's Harley Davidson 87-82. Frank Marcinek scored a team-high 27 points for West End. West End was also led by Mike Domoleski (26 points) and Mike Woytowich (21 points).Mike Stankiewitch scored a game-high 36 points for Schaeffer's Harley Davidson, and Zach Tofany added 27 points.Vesuvio's Pizzeria-M & M CateringVesuvio's Pizzeria won by forfeit.R.R. Frey Services-Guerilla SquadR.R. Frey Services used an 18 point half-time lead to defeat Guerilla Squad 71-47. R.R. Frey then opened the second-half on a 14-0 run. Jim Barron topped all scorers with 21 points, all of which came in the first-half. R.R. Frey was also led in scoring by Jeremy Frey (15 points), Ryan Achenbach (11 points), and Tom Toth (10 points).Guerilla Squad was led by Dave Wilson's 16 points.
