Palmerton grad Kelsey Hay was among six event winners for Penn on Saturday at the Maryland Invitational.
The junior won the event with a toss of 44.31 meters (145-04 ft.).It was the second outdoor meet of the season for the Quakers and was Hay's second first place finish.She won the Philadelphia College Classic a week earlier with her fifth toss, but eclipsed that on her final attempt to finish with a meet-best mark of 46.12 meters (151-04 ft.).Penn continues its season on April 3 and 4 at the Sam Howell Invitational at Princeton, New Jersey.
