April 8, 1952 Larry Bisbing captures two firsts and Lehighton wins nine of 11 events to claim an 83-12 Lehigh Valley League win over Northampton. Bisbing breaks the tape in the 220 and also prevails in the broad jump. The Indians, coached by Lew Ginder, gain other individual firsts from Lloyd Mengel (440) and Dick Dotter (mile). Eddie Levandusky (100, high jump) and Ronnie Lentz (pole vault, high jump) both finish tied for first in two events.
