The Broadway Grille & Pub, Jim Thorpe's newest restaurant and bar, has finally opened its doors to the public after a six-month renovation. Located at 24 Broadway, in the heart of historic downtown Jim Thorpe, the new Broadway Grille & Pub occupies the ground floor of the landmark Inn at Jim Thorpe.

The Drury family, the inn's owners, have given the restaurant and pub a completely new facelift, infusing a hip, downtown ambience into the space's charming, authentic Victorian atmosphere."We're very proud of the way everything turned out, thanks to the efforts of the whole crew who worked on this project. We can't wait for everyone to see it," said David Drury, the hotel's innkeeper.Under the creative guidance of new general manager Patrick Cleary, the kitchen features a wide array of reasonably priced menus that offer new twists on old standards, as well as delicious entrées, salads and sandwiches influenced by flavors from South American and Pan Asian cuisine."We're looking forward to giving the people of Carbon County, as well as all the visitors who come to Jim Thorpe, a fabulous dining experience," said Cleary.Steaks, chops and seafood are chargrilled on the restaurant's new hickory wood grill. On Friday and Saturday nights, the Grille offers a special late night menu with sandwiches, salads, soups and snacks available until midnight.The Grille offers a large breakfast menu, including everything from fluffy buttermilk pancakes to spicy huevos rancheros, plus a huge lunch menu featuring entrées, salads, daily specials and delicious desserts.An extensive wine list features vintages from around the world, available by the glass or bottle, plus a large selection of beer, including many microbrews and a special tap reserved for the Bethlehem BrewWorks' popular suds.
