April 21, 1970 Bruce Kocher collects firsts in three events to help Palmerton cruise to an 82-36 Lehigh Valley League track victory over Northampton. Kocher captures the shot put, long jump and triple jump as the Blue Bombers win 10 events. Stemler (440) and Pete Eck (880) both add an individual first and contribute to the winning two-mile relay team. Palmerton also receives wins from Horvath (two-mile), Bonser (discus) and Lynn Byerly (mile).
