Space ships, alien creatures and a puppet named "Galileo," gave the youngsters attending Trinity Lutheran Church Vacation Bible School an extraterrestrial time.

The theme was "Cadets Cosmic Adventure," and was organized by Kelli Carpenter, who designed the galactic blast to ensure the children had a really good time in "outer space."While the displays set up throughout the church were awesome to see, they were made using a variety of everyday household items."The wonder of God created the universe and the world for all of us," said the Rev. Robert vonFrisch.
