Misericordia University's Megan Hardy, a graduate of Pleasant Valley, was recently named to the National Fast Pitch Coach's Association All-East Region team.

Hardy, a native of Saylorsburg, was named to the Second Team as a catcher.A senior for the Cougars, Hardy finished the season with a .363 batting average (49-for-135), eight doubles, seven homers, 29 runs scored and 30 RBIs. She led the team in total bases with 78 and had a .578 slugging percentage.She finished third on Misericordia's career home run list with 25.
