The Tamaqua Legion team picked up a win in the Schuykill-Berks Legion League on Tjursday.

SCHUYLKILL-BERKS LEGIONTamaqua-Schuykill Vy.Matt Roberts had 15 strikeouts and Tamaqua scored seven runs in two innings en route to a 9-1 win over Schuylkill Valley.Casey Rother had a double and four RBIs, while Adam Bates and Brad Fedor added two hits and one RBI each for the Blue Sox.Jeff Yordy had two hits for Schuylkill Valley.Roberts allowed just four hits and one earned run in getting the win. Jeff Yordy suffered the loss.KEYSTONE SENIOR BABE RUTHPanther Valley-TowamensingFrank Nietz had two hits, one a double, and knocked in a pair of runs to help the Panther Valley Black Diamonds gain a 5-4 win over the Towamensing Yankees.The winners also received a double and two RBIs from Teague Schmidt.Luke Stano pitched six innings to gain the mound victory while Matt Hudicka tossed a scoreless seventh for the save.For the Yankees, Owen Miller had a single, double and RBI.FT Hurricanes-TowamensingChris Micciche pitched a five-hitter to lead the Franklin Township Hurricanes to a 5-1 victory over the Towamensing Yankees.Micciche gave up just one unearned run and two walks while striking out seven.David Everitt had two hits, one a double, and knocked in a run for the winners while Dom Pompa added a hit and RBI.For Towamensing, Trent Haydt had two hits including a triple.FT Hurricanes-Panther ValleyDavid Everitt outdueld Darren Goida to help lift the Franklin Township Hurricanes to a 3-2 win over the Panther Valley Black Diamonds.Everitt finished with a three-hitter, and earned the victory when the Hurricanes scored in the bottom of the seveth inning.Luke Stano had a double and knocked in two runs for the winners.Panther Valley-TowamensingMatt Hudicka knocked in three runs and also gained the pitching win as the Panther Valley Black Diamonds edged the Towamensing Yankees, 4-2.Hudicka tossed three innings of scoreless relief, struck out three, and earned the victory when PV rallied for three runs in the top of the seventh inning.For the Yankees, starting pitcher Ben Weber struck out seven batters and had three hits (all doubles) at the plate.ES Mustangs-TowamensingTowamensing's Ty Achterman had two hits and knocked in a run but the Yankees dropped a 10-3 decision to the East Stroudsburg Mustangs.The Mustangs received three hits and two RBIs from Matt Williams while Matt Konopke also finished with three hits.
