'Camelot' at Pleasant Valley

This coming weekend, Pleasant Valley High School will present its spring musical, "Camelot."

The musical, written by Alan Jay Lerner and Fredrick Loewe, tells the story of King Arthur, his queen, Guinevere and the knights of the roundtable.The musical will include a cast and orchestra made up of over 60 students under the direction of Dan and Marcie Mulligan.The orchestra is under the direction of Sarah Klein.The cast includes Kurt Ammermann as Arthur, Deanna Kahn as Guinevere and Ben Estrella as the dashing, romantic Lancelot.Other key roles are played by Gary Klak as Mordred, King Arthur's illegitimate son; Morgan Le Fey, the enchantress who is played by Victoria Lindner; and Arthur's mentor, Merlin the Wizard, is played by Jake Westerman.Also cast in roles are Erin Berger, Kristian Henricksen Shea, Dylan Firestone, Lizz Eberhardt, Grace Trebour, Rachel Estrella, Brianne Cicalese, Kevin Ramsey and DJ Greenwiez.Cast members also include Erin Tortora, Terrance Cleary, Michael Lamberti, Brianna Barth, Naomi Carl, Samantha Catania, Brianna Cicalese, Zicora Hamilton, Paige Hinton, Elzabeth Larregui, Estrella Kodjovi, Kayla Ramsey and Oliva Rodriguez.Shows are 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 2 p.m. Sunday in the high school auditorium.Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for students.
