July 3, 1986 Bill Fauzio tosses a two-hitter and blasts a go-ahead homer to help Lehighton post a 3-1 Lehigh Valley Legion win over Palmerton. Fauzio walks one and strikes out two. He breaks a tie game in the bottom of the sixth inning with his solo homer. Pete Shanton delivers an RBI single later in the frame to add an insurance run. Palmerton's Jim Christman, who scores his team's only run, receives the hard-luck loss. Christman allows just three hits and two walks while fanning six.
