July 7, 1951 Lee Kuntz tosses a three-hitter to help Lehighton post a 10-2 Tri-County League victory over Mauch Chunk. Kuntz gets touched for two runs and the three hits over the first three innings but pitches no-hit ball for the final six frames. He finishes with three walks and six strikeouts. Charlie "Mort" Stroup collects a single, double and triple to lead Lehighton's offense. "Rocky" Rothermel adds two hits while Kuntz helps his own cause with a triple and two runs scored. Danny Franks chips in with a hit and a pair of runs.
