October 3, 1952 - Francis Deem scores two touchdowns and Bob Fisher rushes for 125 yards to help Tamaqua gain a 20-0 victory over Coaldale. Deem escapes for a 31-yard gain during the Raiders' first drive to set up his own four-yard TD run. Deem later adds a 13-yard score, while Bill Feathers also reaches the end zone on an eight-yard run. Fisher contributes an interception on defense. Tamaqua, coached by Bob Hartwig Jr., outgains the Tigers, 289-95.
