CCTI seniors honored for their efforts
Graduating seniors from the Carbon Career and Technical Institute on May 26 were honored for their efforts to much applause from family and friends.
School officials presented awards to senior class officers - president Shealyn Burkholder, vice-president Ashley Hahn, secretary Daequanna Mathis, treasurer Kaylynn Covine and historian Michelle Gonzalez.Salutatorian Connie Palmer and Valedictorian Dave Pelcheck were announced.Special awards:The Carbon Builders Association award: Dave Pelcheck, carpentry; Scot Andrews, Electric Construction Maintenance; David Beers, HVAC. Each student will receive a tool gift valued at $200.The Concourse Club award: $500 to Ashley Hahn.The Dean Beers Memorial award: $100 each for tools to Doug Kuntz and Matt Shupp.The Dr. George P.
