The 14U Valley Regional Warriors girls travel softball team completed its winter indoor dome tournament season with a first place finish at the Wyoming Valley Sports Dome in Wilkes-Barre on Feb 27. The team swept four games, including a victory over the previously unbeaten Camp Hill Gators, in the title game. The Warriors also had second and third place finishes in their two previous tournaments (Palmyra and Pocono). The Warriors successful season qualified them for USSSA post season World Series and National Championship events. The team is made up of girls from Hazleton Area, Berwick, Crestwood, Mid Valley, Northwest, and Tamaqua Area School Districts.
