Nalesnik on tear for Lehigh

Lehighton graduate Jacen Nalesnik is currently enjoying a seven-game hitting streak as a member of the Lehigh University baseball team.

The junior outfielder is 14-for-29 (.483) during the streak, which included doubleheaders against Farleigh Dickinson and Dartmouth.In his last two games, the former Indian has hit three home runs.For the season, Nalesnik is batting a team-high .369 (24-for-65) with one double, two triples, and the three homers. The 2012 Times News Baseball Player of the Year has also scored 16 runs, including at least one in every game of his hitting streak, and knocked in 10. He has an on-base percentage of .414 and is slugging at a .585 clip.
