Dave Jones collects two hits and scores a pair of runs for the Blue Bombers, coached by Cletus Hollywood. Wargo, a sophomore shortstop who is called on to pitch, hurls all seven innings to claim the win. Palmerton, which uses a three-run sixth inning to take its first lead, also receives two hits from both Bob Parsons and Terry Eckhart.
