April 14, 1965 - Bob Van Horn and Bill Gicking team up to pitch a two-hitter and lead Weatherly to a 2-1 victory over Jim Thorpe. Van Horn gains the victory for the Wreckers, hurling four innings and finishing with seven strikeouts. Van Horn also comes through at the plate with two hits, one of them a double. The Olympians' only hits come off the bat of Jack Kmetz and Drew Benyo.
