April 16, 1952 - Larry Bisbing collects two firsts to help Lehighton earn a 63-37 Lehigh Valley League win over Emmaus. Bisbing captures the 100 yards in 11.5 seconds and breaks the tape in the 220 in 26.4. The Indians, coached by Lew Ginder, dominate the track by winning all six events and compiling a 40-10 margin. Lloyd Mengel (440), Dick Reed (880) and Dick Dotter (mile) add individual victories on the track while Lehighton's four-fifth mile relay also wins. Eddie Levendusky posts a win in the field events, taking the high jump.
