Northwestern’s Mikaela Koenig will continue her academic and athletic career at Lebanon Valley College in the fall.Koenig played four years, two as a starter, for the Tigers’ girls basketball team. The guard/forward averaged 4.6 points per game, 4.3 rebounds per contest, and had a free-throw percentage of .757 this past season.The daughter of Gary and Nadine Koenig, Mikaela also played on the varsity field hockey team. She was Northwestern’s yearbook editor, newspaper co-editor, student council secretary, and a National Honor Society member.Koenig’s major will be Physical Therapy.
