The Lehigh Valley Iron Colts represented Pennsylvania in the AAU Grand National 11U Baseball Tournament at Disney World's ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida. The Colts finished in third place dueing the tourney. Richie Strack of Jim Thorpe hit .374 and played second base during the 10-game tournament. His father, Rich Strack, helped coach the Colts. The team, which won four of their final five games, defeated East Georgia, 10-6, to advance to the final four in the Gold Division. The Colts were one of 24 teams in the Mid Atlantic Region.
