The Blue Mountain League wrapped up its baseball season and named its 2016 All-League team and award recipients.

The all-league team featured four former Times News area baseball players.Nate Kester (Northwestern) earned the honors at first base with a .364 average, five home runs, and 27 RBIs.Joining Kester at the opposite corner is third-baseman Cody Krupa (Northern Lehigh). Krupa drove in 29 runs and accumulated an average of .339.The all-league designated hitter is Pleasant Valley's Pat Kregeloh. He slugged a dozen homers, drove in 28 runs, and batted .326 this year.Justin Jachowicz, a former Panther Valley Panther, earned the all-league pitching honor. He was a perfect 8-0 with five complete games and an earned run average of 1.28.C.J.
