August 6, 1982 - Troy Seiler escapes a last-inning jam to give Slatington a 6-4 victory over Pinechickon in the opening round of the Connie Mack state playoffs. Seiler enters the contest with his team ahead by two runs and runners on second and third with no outs. The hurler records three outs without giving up any runs to earn the save. Starter Todd Evans gains the win, while Ken Borger provides the big hit. Trailing 3-2 in the fourth, Borger delivers a bases-loaded single to drive in the tying and go-ahead runs.
