September 14, 1963 - Nesquehoning forces six turnovers, including one that is returned for a touchdown, to hand Frackville a 25-0 defeat. The Nesquers recover four fumbles and intercept two passes, one by Joe Pizzuti who turns it into a 30-yard pick-six. The winners, coached by Ed Wojchiechowski, get on the board first after Mike Hotsko scoops up a fumble in the first quarter. Joe Drosdak tosses a 4-yard touchdown pass to Tom Whitehead to give Nesquehoning the lead. Other scores come on short runs from Mike Bonner and Rich Evanko.
