September 29, 1962 - Ed Kassak carries seven times for 144 yards and two touchdowns to help Coaldale cruise to a 47-0 victory over Cass Township. Kassak reaches the end zone on a 46-yard run to open the scoring in the first quarter. He adds a 35-yard TD burst later in the third frame. Sonny Yankovich also scores two touchdowns, on runs of 7 and 15 yards. The Tigers, coached by Geno Poli, also receive TDs from Bill Edwards, George Priggins and Martin Kodlick. Ken Hoffman adds a TD pass and in interception on defense.
