Opal Snyder of the Lehighton Downtown Improvement Committee said a meeting to plan the Fourth of July festival for the borough will be held at 6 p.m. Monday at Baer Memorial Park.

The festival will take place on July 3 and 4 at Baer Memorial and feature a parade, fireworks, and carnival.Snyder will be in charge of the meeting.
