The Tamaqua Jr. Raiders recently captured the championship of the North Schuylkill Spartans 2nd Grade Basketball Tournament. Tamaqua fought through the loser's bracket, winning three straight games. The Raiders defeated North Schuylkill Red in the loser's bracket final and followed that up with a pair of wins over previously unbeaten North Schuylkill Blue to win the title. Tamaqua team members include, from left, Kaden Krajcirik, Quinn Coleman, Greg Tirpak, Ethan Brown, Jakin Tamajini and Cole Knox. Also on the team were Conner McCabe and Daunte Krapf.
