Students for Life Club at Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC) is holding a speaker event on Thursday, April 22, at 7:30 p.m. in Room 113/115 of the Administration Building on LCCC's main campus in Schnecksville. The special event will feature Maggie Sweet, from Silent No More, and Karen Bodle, from Operation Outcry as they share their personal experiences and for individuals to learn more about available resources for pregnant and post-abortive women. The group's focus is to reach out to students and members of the community in an effort to raise awareness about the psychological effects of abortion. Students for Life will also be accepting donations to benefit CareNet of the Lehigh Valley and raise funds for installing diaper decks on campus.

Students for Life advocates pro-life initiatives and seeks to promote respect for the dignity of all human beings. The group is dedicated to educating students about the affects of abortion and providing resources for pregnant or parenting mothers and fathers on campus and in the surrounding community.This event is free of charge and open to the community.
