Lehigh's Richardson receives Gum Scholarship Award

Northwestern graduate and current Lehigh University wide receiver Cam Richardson recently had an impressive weekend.

The former Tiger led the team in receiving yards with 60 during Saturday's annual Brown and White Spring game. Richardson caught four passes for 60 yards, including a key 17-yard pickup on a third-and-long play.In addition to his on-the-field numbers, Richardson was awarded the Jim Gum Scholarship Award prior to the contest. The award is presented in memory of former Lehigh football player James S. Gum, a 1984 graduate. Richardson has enjoyed a strong spring season with extra reps as a slot receiver.The Northwestern product will be a junior during the 2017 football season. Richardson appeared in one game during his sophomore year.
