Higgins finishes with three hits and three runs scored for the winners, managed by Chip Kusko. George Malik tosses a four-hitter, walking four and striking out seven. The Nesquers also receive a hit and two runs scored from both Chuck McAvoy and Mike Hudicka, while Joe Matalone adds a pair of runs.
