The 2010 Sixth Sense Competition recently was held at Panther Valley High School. Sixth Sense is a scholastic scrimmage of sixth grade students from eight school districts. School districts represented where Jim Thorpe, Palmerton, Lehighton, Panther Valley, Northern Lehigh, Northwestern Lehigh and Jim Thorpe. In the final round, Pleasant Valley defeated Jim Thorpe for the championship; Palmerton took third place.
