Lenten service

This week's Lenten service will be held on Wednesday, March 17 at Jerusalem Lutheran. Soup and Sandwich begins at 6:30 p.m. and the service begins at 7:30 p.m. with guest preacher the Rev. Deborah Scheffey.Eldred Township Historical SocietyJust in time for Easter, the Eldred Township Historical Society will host Jody Obena from Palmerton on Tuesday, March 16 at 7 p.m. A talented Pysanky egg artist, she will bring along some of her beautiful egg art from traditional Pysanky to modern techniques and designs and give a demonstration.
