A medical call resulted in the arrest of a fugitive from justice. State police at Lehighton said the incident occurred on Nov. 26 about 3:30 p.m. in Polk Township, Monroe County.

Troopers said response was made to 8907 Robin Hood Drive, Kunkletown, for a possible overdose of prescription medication and a minor altercation. Patrick Shea O'Connor, 31, of that address, was the subject of the report. A check revealed that he was wanted by Harris County Sheriff's Department, in Houston, Tex., for failure to appear for a felony criminal mischief charge.Troopers said O'Connor was taken into custody after Texas officials said they would extradite him to answer the charges.
