Second grade students at West Penn Elementary School, Snyders, dressed in Thanksgiving attire, create necklaces, with each bead telling part of the Thanksgiving story. The second graders partnered with fifth grade students on the activities as part of an anti-bullying initiative held monthly at the school. Teachers involved with the program included second grade instructors Vanessa Boyle and Harriet Gustus and fifth grade instructors Timothy Gombar and Michele Bittner.
